The High was a Lie

This piece represents the downward spiral of drug addiction. People are so caught up in the "high" the drug produces they negate the consequences. Before they know it the drugs are controlling them. In my print, the person is being swallowed by the addiction yet their hand is still reaching up for the drugs.
